NOTE: The editing examples on this page are intended to show basic editing skills as they relate to straight out of camera vs. finished edit. I offer more robust editing as well, including changing the sky, opening closed eyes, swapping clothing and/or heads, changing backgrounds, and adding people to existing photos.
I have spent the better part of 25 years as a professional photographer. During that time, I have witnessed remarkable shifts in both artistic styling and technology. My priority was always to offer my clients the best possible blend of experience, art, and image quality. Now that I have transitioned away from paid photography work, I am able to offer to you all of my education and experience in the form of professional editing services.
I currently use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, and Adobe Bridge/Camera Raw as my primary editing resources. I am also using Photoshop Beta, which includes the new Generative Fill and refined Removal Tool, as well as Neural Filters. Basically, I am keeping up with the rapid growth of image editing tools.
My goal is to take on the work that you do not have the time to do. I know how difficult it is to stay on top of editing when you are shooting one or two weddings a weekend or huge schools every week. It would be an amazing gift to be able to easily handle the entire process from the initial meeting to the delivery of images, but running a business in today’s work environment makes that challenging.
So let me offer you my editing services. I will take your out of camera, raw images, cull out the ones that don’t fully express your genius and style, edit the remaining ones to perfection, and digitally deliver ready-to-display-and-deliver images to you within 3 to 5 days. Can you just imagine how much time, mental energy, and creativity that would free up?
Pricing for this service is dependent on bot objective and subjective details. If you send me pretty rock solid images to begin with? It will cost less. If you usually shoot 2K to 3K images at a wedding? It will cost less than if you shoot 5K to 8K. Initially, I will quote a price based on number of images, and we will go from there for future jobs. For those of you just getting a feel for what this would cost, a ballpark estimate would be $600 for up to 3K initial images. That includes initial culling, basic corrections of all remaining images, and detailed editing on people/portraits.
One additional bit of info – I understand how hard you worked to develop your brand and style. I will 100% support that by tweaking my editing style to match yours as closely as possible. That includes using your actions and presets as needed.
